David Gust

David Gust is an USA (Ret.) – former Deputy Chief of Staff for Research, Development and Acquisition, U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC), where he was responsible for all research and development efforts within the AMC and its subordinate organizations. General Gust has over twenty-two years of experience as a Certified Acquisition Manager in the Army, with significant executive experience as Project Manager, Program Executive Officer – Communications Systems and Program Executive Officer – Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors. After retiring from the US Army with 34 years of service, MG Gust became the President & CEO of Technical and Management Services (TAMSCO) from 2000-2002. After the sale of TAMSCO to Engineered Support Systems, Inc. (ESSI), he remained with the company for another eighteen months to help with the integration of TAMSCO into the publicly-held company. He joined Bechtel Federal, Inc where he served as the Director, Federal Telecoms. He was President of USfalcon from 2007-2009, where he increased USfalcon’s annual revenues from $14M to $94M per year.He currently serves as Founder and CEO of David R. Gust and Associates. His consulting firm, founded in 2009, has been instrumental in helping his clients win substantial contracts within the Army and other government agencies.
